Karatekas successful at black belt exams

Master Frank Woon-A-Tai 8th Dan, conducted grading examinations at the YMCA, Thomas lands on Sunday August 2 where several black belt were successful.
Master Woon-A-Tai also recently conducted grading exams at 5th Dan Sensei Amir Khouri’s Anna Regina ISKF Karate Dojo on Saturday August 1. There he awarded Shodan (1st Degree Black belt) to Lloyd Gibson and Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) to Shamash Persaud.
The Grading Exams for the Georgetown (Sensei Amir Khouri) and Berbice (Sensei Clinton Moriah) ISKF Dojos results are as follows:

15 Students promoted to Yellow belt (8 kyu)
6 Students promoted to Orange belt (7 kyu)
7 Students promoted to Green belt (6 kyu)
12 Students promoted to Purple belt (5 kyu)
7 Students promoted to Purple belt (4 kyu)
3 Students promoted to Brown belt (3 kyu)
4 Students promoted to Brown belt (2 kyu)
10 Students promoted to Brown belt (1 kyu)
1 Student promoted to Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt)
1 Student promoted to Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt)

A total 66 Students took the examination. On the outstanding list were:
Kevin Thomas who skipped from white to 7 kyu Orange belt; Meshec James, Shane Rahaman and Darren Bourne skipped from 8 kyu (Yellow belt) to 6 kyu (Green Belt).
Ryan Benschop skipped from 5 kyu (purple belt) to 3 Kyu (Brown Belt); Lloyd Gibson skipped from 3 kyu (Brown belt) to Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) and Shamash Persaud was successful at passing his Nidan (2nd Degree Black belt).
