Frank Woon-a-Tai grew up in an impoverished neighbourhood in Guyana where violence was a part of daily living. As a teenager, he discovered karate and his life completely changed. From his dojo in Toronto, Frank has become one of the world’s top karate instructors. But he says his biggest accomplishment is on the personal front. Every single member of Frank’s family has a black belt too.
